Man Arrested Amid Claims of Sexual Assault on Special Needs Employees
According to an investigation by the Fairfax County, VA Police, the former manager of a bakery in Chantilly, VA was arrested for sexually abusing two special needs employees.
The abuse victims reported the alleged incident to their parents, prompting police to investigate. The other employee did the same, and police investigated further. Unfortunately, this kind of abuse often goes unreported because victims don’t feel safe enough to talk about what happened to them or don’t think they will be believed. Some victims may not have the capacity to communicate their stories of abuse or don’t understand what sexual assault is and that it’s against the law.
